Outer Limits 4x4 Board

A while ago i had to pull my dash out.

I haven't put it back together yet but i now need to open my bonnet and when you pull on the cable that manages the latch it just stays slack and nothing happens.

how do i get that latch to undo so i can get it up?

i can get my arm up there and move the level no issues, but its the actual lock around the catch that needs to be unlocked

u should be able to unlock it from under there.

or pull the cable manually from there.
