how modified is it?
I wondered this about my '40 when i came over. There are heaps over here + a lot of 45's which arent as common in NZ.
If you're coming for good and you've got room in the container then sure, do it. Otherwise build another when you get here.
I left mine in the garage.
... sniff... sniff...

Depends how modified it is and what state you are moving to.
If you have owned it for more than 1 year and had it registered in your name you can import it as a personal import
If not you can import it as a 15 year old import. To import any vehicle into Australia you will need an import approval issued by the Department of Transport and Regional Services.
The vehicle will then have to have an imported vehicle certificatin done and the vehicle will also have to meet state modification requirements.
Not trying to put you off, just be aware that it can be a real PIA

has a bit of work dont on it
the reson i am looking at taking it with me is that i wont have the contacts over there like i do here to build one with, eg, migs, pipebenders,
maybe i could allways rip out the cage and beadlocks and take those with me lol
