astron motor's

hey guys i've bin told the 2.6 astron will bolt strait up to the gearbox of a asia rocsta. If i do this i wana know do any company's still make performance upgrades for these motor's i was guna use efi version from a magna. were there any 16 valve engines?
also wonder is it the same motor that mazda use in there b2600 bravo?

Not sure about it fitting into the Rocsta but i did a head and timing gear on an NC Paj the other day with one of these engines and he was running a webber and extractors and i also fitted a mild camshaft to it. She didn't go too bad either and the customer said that it went a lot harder with the camshft as well.
Yeah i'm pretty sure the B2600's ran the 2.6 astron motor.

interesting, i hear u can get alot of power out of these old motor's should be a good conversion.

www.cveperformance.com is nearly finished doing a EFI and Turbo intercooled conversion on one of these 2.6's, in a Triton ute.
