fsj tyre size

gday, anyone know the largest tyre size that came out on a full size jeep? need to know for eng. cert. thanks.

mine had 265/70-15 on when i bought it which works out to about 29.5" tall.

it will depend on if it was a 2 door chief or a 4 door and have a feeling even the 4 doors the limited was a different size tyre

thanks, just found out the j20 was the biggest with 9.50-16.5 but kneed to know if they had bigger brakes and axles.

Some of the J20's had bigger axles.
Ours has D60 rear and D44 from and 8 on 6.5 lug pattern - ie the heavy duty package :cool:
And yes it has 9.5R16...... Although about change to 33x12.5 or 35x12.5 ;)

thanks ,looks like i may be able to have 35 x 12.5, jeep has 6.2 chev with hydroboost brakes and no roof so may pass brake test with those tyres hopefully.

This shows 37's and it's engineered to 35's only... and that was damn difficult....

Nice jeep I really like that how do I convince my wife and bank manager that I really need another 4wd :?
