Hi guys i have a problem with my RHS indicator staying on, both the front and back.

I was wondering how do the rear lights get earthed? I have tested all 4 pins on the plug and it looks like each pin is for a seperate light. Brake, Parker, Indicator and Reverse. So where do the lights get earthed? is it to the body through the shell of the lights? Because i think a bad earth is what is causing the indicator to stay on. Any Ideas?

Also does anyone know what the Green with Orange Stripe wire coming out near the rear lights are as well? there is one on each side but not connected to anything. thanks.

ground should be a white wire with black strip and red bits..

I have a wiring diagram here : http://members.iinet.com.au/~ironpaw/bj ... iagram.pdf

which should help you out.

My lights have the 4 plugs, as i was saying one for each light and then the parker plug also has a wire coming from it up to the number plate lights and then a wire coming off the number plate lights to earth. Does the earth from the number plate lights also earth the rear lights? Im still unsure how it earths itself because there are only these wires going to the rear lights.
