Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question Dave, but in your comps why is a 4 point roll cage with 2 points internal and 2 points external not accepted? :?

Hi, Back again. The reason for not allowing internal & external is I want the four point to start at the "A" Pillar & the main hoop must be within a 150mm rear of the drivers head. There are several reason I will not allow internal to external one is it is not accepted practice in any other major motor sport. The other one to me is how can you have a main hoop mounted to floor of cab (which is rubber mounted) & the rear section mounting to the chassis which has nothing.

Thanks for responding Dave but I dont completely understand what you are saying about the mounting system, if you are mounting through the floor directly to the Chasi is this not ok, also the two additional rear legs which suport the central hoop have these been taken into consideration because this would infact be a 6 point cage as l see it.

1 last thing are you implementing these rules into XRCC, just curious?

Thanks
Joe.

Xtreme Winch Challenge Round 1

Hi, You will find all roll bars are mounted to the floor pan & dont go through to the chassis. At the moment for XRCC, apart from window nets & new roll cages to be steel, there are no other changes for the year, at the moment. There is a new XRCC Rule Book under way, should have it out around March / April, this will come into effect 2005. Hope this answers your questions.
