Hey all. Ripped my softtop up against tree last wheeling trip. It didnt rip in entirely just ripped the rubber coating and the material backing is still intact. Water seeps in now so i was wondering if anyone knows a glue that works (silicone maybe).

If its a cheap fix you want try shoe sole glue from solly's. Its latex based I think. Its clear/yellow so if you use it on a black roof it might look a bit rough and it'll take three coats but is waterproof and lasts up to 2 years.

i got my inflatable repaired(no not doll  ) and i bought some of the glue they used. its called VLP, can be used on small holes and tears.

From what i can see and feel of it on the bottom of the boat it drys clear and is like a strong rubber when fully dry.

Get a leather & vinyl repair kit. it has a thing like a car valve that you heat up and some other shit looks perfect.

I repaired my sofftop with gaffa tape when it was slashed, you couldnt even tell it was damaged (assuming youre blind and minimum 2km away)
