Thinking of changing the Surf for another Roza !!! Miss that little truck.
The Surf gets between 12.5 & 10.5 litres per 100 K's
Can't remember what Roza did. Can someone refresh my memory.
Cheers Leon...

My feroza uses about 10 liters to the hundred depending o what kind of driving. Not so good i guess but i am a bit of a lead foot at times.

Hi Leon, mine averages between 10 and 11 litres/ 100km (or it did, I haven't worked it out for a while.) I've kept usage figures since I bought it!
Good ones are hard to find now- good luck.

10-12 depending on how hard i drive it. Having 30's doesnt help either.

Just to be unpopular
Keep the Surf. I have a Turbo Diesel 4Runner and it runs about the same economy wise as your Surf. Combined with 2" body lift, 2" Suspension Lift, ARB Air Locker and 33" Tyres and extra space, the Feroza just really doesn't compare. Even my V6 Auto Prado i think is a better option. (yes i am aware they are mid sized wagons so not directly comparable) Apart from turning circle and better fuel economy, they both have everything over a Feroza.
I can only assume you went to the bigger vehicle for some reason, can you live without the space again? If it's partly due to fuel economy, are the small savings that much of a benefit?
Don't get me wrong, i loved my Feroza to and at times wished i never got rid of it. I will also defend there capabilities to the people who doubt them. But reality is, in my opinion there are just far to many better options.
Now can someone help me with applying some Zel Gel to keep the flames from burning me

As a toy that can handle a decent beating and easy to fix, then YEAH
Highway mileage, expect around 10l/100km on flattish runs.
For the size, not much will match the Feroza for durability.

Yeah, Rod, Aj
I guess I miss the old days. You know wheeling in the Blue Mountains every weekend.
Remember that big long mud climb in the Jenolin State forest?
That's gotta be one of my lifes best memorys.
Also driving back from Canberra I took the long cut through Dingo Dell just so I could use low range.
Couldn't do it in the Surf.
Cheers Leon...

I've still got a few pics of that trip somewhere....gotta dig 'em out and scan 'em in sometime.
That was the last trip I did in NSW :(
Shane and Wal and I found some nice tracks further east from where we ended up with the group, then Wal went home in the morning (FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZING and windy night) and Shane, Mandy (?) and I did a bit more exploring. Found some noice climbs
A brief trip report here:

VIC high country in April? Or even if we wait till spring so we've got plenty of time to plan it and get in contact with all the old members.

It has been talked about in the past. Well atleast me and Officer Plod
I'd be keen, but would want more notice though unless further North closer to myself, i am off to Fraser at the end of March so April wouldn't be good for me.

110km with 22l - off the road,
