tech: Turbo intercooler from late model patrol on MQ?

Hi, just wondering if its possible to fit the intercooler from one of the later model patrols on my 3.3 turbo diesel? (i think its the one that comes on the 4.2 TD)
anyone done it? much modification to be done?
