How do I adjust the handbrake in my Maverick?

Hey guys,
Ever since I got my clutch done the handbrake has been crap. Ive been meaning to fix it for a while but kept putting it off.
I did a search and couldnt find anything so I'd thought I would ask how to adjust it before I went and tried to sort it out on my own.
Does anyone know how? Its a maverick with a disk brake rear end.
Cheers,
Dan

It's easy mate. You will see a little rubber gromit (if its still there) in your handbreak drum cover on the front of your tailshaft.
All you do is line that gromit up so it's facing straight down to the ground then remove it and grab a torch and you just stick a flat head screw driver through the hole and adjust it like you would the old drum brakes.
Cheers mick.

Thanks for that mate.
I had a look and couldn't figure it out though. Ive never adjusted drum brakes before. I cant see what I need to adjust inside the assembly.
There seems to be a cog of sorts at the very bottom, is that what I need to adjust?
Do I need to move the car to get what I need to adjust down to the bottom where I can see it?

I figured it out.
The cog needs to be rotated upwards to tighten the handbrake. Rotating the cog downwards loosens it.
I cant twist the tailshaft by hand with the handbrake applied anymore. Ill test it properly once my sisters friend who parked their POS torana in behind my car gets back and moves it.
