just spent the last 2hrs reading about onboard air setup but most are setup to run lockers etc as well

i'm just after some help on making a onboard air setup just for pumping up tyres and for air tools

has anyone done a onboard air setup to a holden v6 motor in a hilux, after some pic's of the setup

what parts do i need etc

It all depends how elaborate you want to get.
The simplest way is just plumb an air filter (or hose to you engine airbox) to the intake and a bit of hi temp hose on the outlet to an air fitting.
Two things,1 you need to squirt a bit of oil into the air intake every once in a while, 2 you need to make sure the air hose fittings are all "non sealing" ie let air flow through them all the time not just when conected as you are not running a pressure cutoff switch.

If you want to run a tank then things get a little more interesting. You need a pressure switch from a 240volt comp that includes an unloader valve, a tank, a one way valve, and a safety pop off valve.

You can then get fancy with the oiling system as well and use an inline oiler on the intake and oil separater on the outlet.
