Toyota would sell you one, but sit down before you get the price...other than that, its wreckers for a rear hilux extracab (i think) shaft and rape it

any driveline shop will have one.
You do realise you wil have to shorten your shaft to fit it though.

With what lift does a Double Cardon joint become useful for on a 105 series solid axles?

With 4" lift at the front a friend's is vibrating like hell.

Any suggestions where to get one in Canberra?

Over 3 inches lift and with caster correction, the angles of the dangles changes for the worst......especially on manuals, which have shorter shafts....

i brought mine from hardy spicer then had it grafted onto my origonal shaft and yes they do come in 100 series bolt pattern , or ya can bye a hilux one and have an adaptor plate made between the transfer and the shaft that also works well .

Now that sounds like a top idea...if the spacer is long enough, no driveshaft mods would be necessary....

The front shaft in a hilux all LN106's have a double cardon shaft

The front shaft is not thesame bolt pattern as the 80/100...the rear shaft with d.c is the right bolt pattern, but shaft needs cutting shorter....hoever, this adapter sounds the ducks guts, especially if it retros a shorter lux front shaft to the 80/100....

Have you thought about a part time kit for it?

Do you think you'll need it? I've just clocked over 100k with a 4 inch lift in a 105 and dont have one. Have had no issues with it up to this point. Have adjusted the diff by slotting and welding to keep the front end right.

Thats a good point...you probably wont need it if you only adjust 2 degrees but a 4 inch lift needs more than 2 to bring it back to std caster...however, living with a twitchy front end is easier than a vibrating one....

Yep, had to put near 5 degrees into mine and even then it took a fair bit of fluffin around top eventually get it to steer well. seem to have it sorted now though.

Dobsons with tuff dog shocks. The springs are the really heavy duty ones, 22mm I think....basically I carry too much weight and the last set could not handle it.
