What's a good price for getting injectors reconditioned and how much difference can it make?
My injectors were last done about 150,000-200,000km ago. I remember the engine idling a whole lot quieter when they were put back in.

I think it cost me about $80 per nozzle (including fitting and adjustment). When I bought my 110 it has 300k on the clock and the nozzles had NEVER been done. Even so, I barely noticed the difference afterwards.

I called up an injector place today. He said black smoke, lack of power or poor fuel consumption are the symptoms.
Since I've got none of those, I'll not be worrying.
His price was in line with yours.
Cheers.

One thing that can be done for much less than replacing the nozzles is just resetting the pressure at which the injector opens. As they get older they will open at -progressively lower pressures - this can be adjusted back to spec.
