Gas no need for polloution managment? What spark plugs?

Post by Mulisha »

hi guys

I have a Ford Maverick/Nissan Patrol GQ..

I'm converting my car from duel fuel to straight gas and was woundering all the polloution crap they have under the bonnet is that needed anymore?

Is there any benfiet of remmoving it any way apart from getting rid of a bit stuff from under the bonnet?

Thanks alot

Also becuase i'm going to be running my car on straight gas i wanted to change the spark plugs..

I got NGK BKR6E from repco and they told me they were a little bit cooler plud then standard and i just wanna make sure as they arn't all ways very switched on people..

Thanks alot for any help

Spark plugs are all good, should run one range cooler for gas (the 'cooler' refers to how fast and effective the heat disapation on the plugs are, cooler plugs get rid of the heat quicker).

Not to sure on the legalities of removing the Pollution Control Gear. I am assuming that removal = illegal but, if it passes an emissions test from running straight LPG then who knows!
