Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Gday,

I have asked this question before but have not received an answer.

Has anyone on this forum had or know someone that has had a gearbox rebuilt in the Sydney area and are completely happy with the job.

From the couple of places i have spoken too one has quoted $750 and explained that it could be more if gears damaged.

One quoted $1200 and did not explain anything.

Another one asked me what it was doing and then said i would need to give it too him and he will do a free quote.

My old man reckons i should go with the guy that wants to quote so he can show me exactly what is wrong with it and demonstrate his knowledge before i commit to the job.

Any help appreciated.
