Running Hot.

Hey guys, My 3.9 Disco' been running a little over temp for some time.
I think I've posted on this subject in the past, now I've changed the thermostat, replaced the water pump, and two weeks ago just finished giving the old girl a head job.
When taken to a radiator specialist, he stuck his sensor thingy in the expansion tank and declared "blown head gasket" Hence the head job.
Now, she still runs just as warm as before all this was done.
She doesn't overheat as such, and the heads were pretty straight when they were skimmed, just a bit warmer than she should.
In saying that when pushed too hard, for instance up mt Ousley (Sydneysiders will know the on) she does over heat, and I've had to stop.
I'm going to replace the radiator this weekend, as far as I can tell that's my last resort.
Any suggestions as to what it could otherwise?
Thanks guys.

Have you checked the timing???

Since you have done everything else and it gets warm when u give it a hard time maybe your timing is out a little?

Had the radiator mucked out by a radiator place yet ?

Rad will be over 10yrs old and shagged full of rubbish out of our engine and blocking all the little capilaries (sp?)

It is a $70 - $100 job if you delivery the rad yourself

Definately not timing. I've checked that.
Raginrover, the exchange radiator's a good one that I've recently aquired so hopefully it'll fix the problem.

Cool hope that is the source of the problem, with the timing check that the balancer hasn't slipped and is causing it to be out
