as far as i have seen 31s require 2in Spring and 2in BL or some guard cutting maybey some largish extended shackles.

Cheers

No. You i've got a 2"BL and some extended shackles which gives me enough clearance for 31's.

I have a set of 31x10.5 on my Sierra with 2"spring, 3" body lift and front flares raised 15mm. If you want 31s you will have to do some work.

How do you ask .9 of a question?

I know someone implied it but never actually asked in fear of being called a noob and being told to look in the bible.

I ran 4 inches for 35's (and chopped the guards a "bit" :D )

I ran 31's with no lift, just some minor guard mashing :D They did of course rub a little... on the firewall out the front and in the rear on the centre of the inner tub.

So IMHO yes you can run 31's with no lift on a sierra, i think it would be adviseable to do a bit of a guard cut and/or minor bumpstop extention if want zero rubbing ;)

Ill second that, I brought a sierra not long ago with 31's and no lift and no gaurd choppy chop. Only problems were I could not even get to half lock before the front tyres were hard up against the front bar and that was on flat ground and bumps were not a good thing either, the tyres would push up into the gaurds. these problems inturn chopped the tyres out a fare bit. Ive since given it a 2" bl & 2" sus lift. Problem fixed

The .9 is the person that typed it all into the new thread box, then at the last minute backed out :D. Or it could of been me mashing my hand on the number pad at work :D
As for the lift, i can fit 34's on my rig with straight SPOA and bashed seams, i run 32 tsl/sx and they clear fine with good up travel.

 yeah, back in the day, over 3 years ago when it used to get cleaned and not rolled so often

Also I had a fairly small offset on those rims too so I had about 85-90% steering lock before the tyres hit the springs. I have a much better turning circle now with 35's and 10" wheelbase extension
