My brother in law just lashed out and got a 2006 pathfinder.Diesel.I had a look under it and said I would not take it on the rough stuff. He asked why not?I said it has a plastic fuel tank with no protection from rocks e.t.c.
So here is my question,Doe's anyone know of this being a problem and should he need a steel bash plate fitted to protect it.He will be reading this post for your recomendations.

depends on wat sort of wheeling you intend doing.

If you do what the car was designed for, touring and fire trails, then it should be fine.

I will just have to wait and see what he wants to do with it and how rough he wants to go.Just don't want to tow him out of somewhere.

quite simple, dont go with him places his car aint designed to go. dont go doing porters rd, or rocky track in it..
