Detroit lockers used to be availaible for rocky's, but they stopped making them a while back. I'm sure Bundy will chime in soon about his front and rear detroits.

PV, if thats an apology to me, I took no offence. I know as a yank, you cannot be held responsible for anything you say or do.   :finger:

And Trac Tech, the guys that make Detriot Lockers no longer manufacture them. The only ones you will find these days are NOS sitting on a shelf somewhere, or secondhand.
Interestingly, seeing as Trac Tech is an american company, they made them for a Rocky, yet it was the Australian Rocky/Fourtrak/Rugger, not the US Rocky/Feroza/Sportrak.

There's this guy called 'Wing' in indonesia who can make up a locker for you, pictures here:
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2421770/1
and his website here, for those who speak indonesian:
http://www.taftdieselindonesia.com/new/

And this is what he had to say when I emailed him asking about his work:
"Hi Damian,
Thanks for your apreciation.
We made the (on demand) locker as easy as possible to install in the existing diff.
It's not a mass product, it's just like a survival for our Daihatsu to get a better tractions. U know, nobody care about our Daihatsu.
The price is about USD 6,70. for a unit on demand locker. Exclude shipping and tax. We never sell this unit to Au so far.
Thanks for the info.
Regards.
Wing - Taft Diesel Indonesia"

$670 US is about $860 Australian, I've been tempted to buy one, but then again I can buy a lot of welding rods for $860 too....

I'll have one for that price... maybe 2 :D

I would love my truck so much more if it was locked...

But really, if any of you guys want them I'm seriously interested.
They just need to be strong enough and not break also.

x2
I'd give a rear one a go. Only thing that concerns me is the 'safety' of buying something overseas, i'm very paranoid, dont want to send my hard earned dosh to indo and never see anything in return :?

Just remember if it works and doesn't break, we will be wanting our money back. If it breaks well we've only lost $50.

Just think everyone... how much better is a feroza gonna be if you can lock even just the rear diff!!!!!
Flex is something we can only get so much of... and most feroza's attempting to flex look something like this...

What diffs are you using? I havn't ever heard of an airlocker for a Rocky!

If they are stock, are the Petrol centres different to the diesel ones?

You're thinking what I'm thinking B1... same with almost every modified Rocky owner in the country who have been chasing air lockers for centuries :D

So if ARB makes an air locker for a Rocky rear diff, which they dont, then you can have one for the front, as they are the same diff.
