Gearbox shifter bolt size?

Anyone know what size shifter bolt the 86 NT 5spd uses? 10 or 12mm?
they are only 6.60 each but i rather not spend the extra if i dont need to

I replaced the bolt and bush in my shifter yesterday. mine is 89 WT and uses a 12mm head bolt with a 5 x 1.0 thread. I found a bolt that fits beautifully in my bolt bucket. I think yours will be 10mm head. If you remove the shifter housing from the box, you could tap and fit whatever bolt you like(as long as the end is ground down).

ah nice one.
yeh i will be dropping out the box tomorrow to rebuild it and figured i will replace the mounts, seals and shifter bushes/bolts whilst i am there..
