Outer Limits 4x4 Board

giday. ijust bought a new old rocky f sumthing cant remember da number but it is a 2.8 deisel non turbo. i'm going to use this as my offroader. i was wondering wha tparts of other vehicles bolt straight up to my truck that i can use as replacement parts as i break things
any help would be good cheers

Hilux thermostat. Thats about it

Hilux air cleaner (with some mods) just have to pull the old plastic bit off and glue it onto the hilux one.

Oh, and MQ Diffs Requires slight alterations, or so i've heard.

Would prolly be an F75, no need for many mods and it will be a very capable bush hack, especially if your not concerned with panel damage. 2" lift and 31"s, and you'll keep up with the big boys no worries. Weld a diff and they'll be trying to keep up with you

I cut the plastic off mine anyways... I Should just buy the lux one!

IIRC, the Hilux air filter doesnt come with the sealing O ring attached. So the fix for this is to carefully remove this ring from an old Rocky air filter, and silicone it into the end of the air cleaner can, around the opening to the inlet manifold. The Hilux air filters then go straight in.

As for the model you bought, this info should be on the plate on the firewall. Otherwise, if its a SWB, all steel roof, it will be an F70, or LWB half resin roof, its a F75

hilux radiator core, daihatsu ones are nearly twice the price
