Uni Joint Grease

Post by oondy »

WHat grease should I use for the uni's on the front & rear drive shafts - and the slip joints aswell?

I used some Mobil XHP222 grease (coz it was in the gun) but I was under the bus the other day after i had come back from a short drive and the grease had melted and formed a slight drop on the end of the slip joint seal.

Do i need a higher melting point grease? or is XHP222 just crap

cheers

Yes I agree...

As some peoples idea of "Extreme Off Roading" is rather lame.
