Lockers In Sand

do lockers work better in sand?
looking at maxi drive locker for my defender?

As long as your not turning, yes.

generally no, but front works well to get the car to drive out of the rut in order to get off the track. i found most of the time all wheels are usually in contact with the sand, ie a wheel is rarely in the air

I have a front lockkarite in front off GQ patrol and is awsome in the sand and it DOES turn where i want it too go as i tow my campervan up too Double Iland all the time.

I have a front lockrite too and it does feel better in some circumstances but overall I think unlocked will get you there too.

Saw a Rangie getting bogged at D.I. turned his lockers off and drove out fine; go figure cause i thought they would have been good :?

turn sharpily with front locker in and rear out in sand, makes c.v.'s cry thou but if you own a GU then no worries
