I had to move my handbrake lever sideways a little so as the 2wd/4wd high low shifter would be able to move through it's complete range.
All I can say about the whole job is there is not much room between the floor of the car and the top of the transmission.

I have also found that u have to use the 60 series transfer case housing as the bearing on the transmission output shaft is supported in the transfer case housing. Yes you are right.
