Re: Mixing oils
You could always flush the pump with a few quick squirts of the next oil to eliminate the majority of contamination if you are still worried. I would just do this. A couple of squirts to push some fresh oil through and will push out anymore oil left in. I use the same technique but with an old oil ...

I have had the Handbrake problem. Everytime it is maintained the handbrake is checked and adjusted. The entire system was overhauled about a year ago and this made a big difference now it will hold on hills. I still do not trust it like I did my patrol handbrake, but they are a totally different set...

Hello, I have a 80 series 1992 GXL factory Turbo diesel. At Christmas all the lights within the dash start to stay on constantly while driving, for example turbo boost, over boost, timing belt, oil, pre heat, alternator and a few others I can not think of. Now over Christmas, when this started to ha...

I would not bother with the fogs, as you said it is still illegal and in my opinion does not offer extra vision. I am not after more low beam light, (standard lights when work properly were ok with the use of high beam) I was mainly interested in the difference the whiter light from HID makes to fat...

HID - 80 Series Landcruiser
Hi, I am looking to replace the headlight on my Landcruiser 1992 as they are performing substandard and rusting on the reflector. I was also looking at the HID upgrade kits on ebay. I then read this site. I am concerned that installing HID will cause glare for other motorist. http://www.intellexual....

I run 40 psi in my 32inch BFG muddies. However I do like a hard tyre and most of the driving is to work on a freeway. Might try the chalk idea and see how it goes. problem with running tyres 'hard' is that it severely affects braking performance in the wet, when you install a bigger tyre than stand...
