The owner is a bit of a Rover nut........ We have just finished building him a Land Rover Discovery fitted with a Jaguar 4.2 Supercharged Engine and 7 speed tiptrionic gearbox. Plus in the UK it's really easy to get spares for the rover motor and the 5.0 makes an relaxed 300bhp with ease so it ...

TR4 Proto Daihatsu pics.

Whilst looking through my photos from last years Ladoga Trophy Raid in Russia, I recalled that I hadn't posted any pictures of the Daihatsu that ran in TR4 Proto class. I attended the Ladoga Trophy Raid 2007 as support crew for a UK 3 car raid team. I never got a chance to speak to the crew of the ...

Thats pretty much what I had thought.
There is nothing available in the Uk market for the Fez, and having done a little research, the Fez Auto is as rare in the UK as Rocking Horse Sh*t.

I'll give the idea up as a bad job and move on to the next project. :D

Feroza Transfer box modifications?

Has anyone ever modified their Feroza transfer box? The Suzuki boys can do a conversion called a rock lobster, where they machine a couple of gears from 410 and 413 transfer boxes, so that they get a far better low ratio whilst retaining a good high ratio for road use. Did the Fez ever come with ...

All true - one thing often forgotten is that the steering causes CV angle change also. I totally agree. Thats why they usually crack when on full lock and on the gas. I've trashed an O/S outer CV. On full right hand lock, on the gas and landed hard on the O/S front. It cracked the CV bucket and ...

What's the issue with CV joint angles ? Unless you wind the bars up then they are fine - and if that's what you have done then you have mostly bump travel and no droop. I know exactly what you mean. I have welded the front diff and fitted 32" tyres, so lifting a wheel isn't a problem but the result ...

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to move the ECU above the heater as suggested and put it in a box anyway as most of the wading over here on play days is 4ft deep as standard! Waterproofing a Feroza EFI?

The cost of getting a spacer made over here is probably about the same as getting a prop modded.
I've got a spare gearbox and prop, so I'll look into getting that done. :D
