Post your highly modified Vitara pics please??

Post by Mantamac »

I'm just starting a new build for a customer and I'm after a little inspiration........ :?

Our basic Vitara Plan is:
SWB Vitara, Landcruiser e locker VX80 axles, 38.5" Boggers, beadlocks, FOA 18" travel Coilovers, front and rear 1 links, Modified Rover V8 (possibly a 5.0 coss bolted TVR lump with wildcat heads), rear mounted radiator, Hilux gearbox with twin transfer cases, front/rear and center winches, lot's of body chopping and lot's and lots of tube..........Obviously as it's a customer build that can all change as daft ideas get thrown about. ;)

So fire away with the pics please?

The owner is a bit of a Rover nut........ We have just finished building him a Land Rover Discovery fitted with a Jaguar 4.2 Supercharged Engine and 7 speed tiptrionic gearbox.
Plus in the UK it's really easy to get spares for the rover motor and the 5.0 makes an relaxed 300bhp with ease so it should be reliable(we hope...lol). :D

I forgot to say the 4.2 made just over 500bhp on the engine dyno. ;)
