Yeah, a couple of people with V8 conversions that I've talked to have said they have no problems with the G52... I try and "fit and forget" when I can. Just don't like the idea of being stranded somewhere in the chance it does let go... I managed to track a R150 down cheap enough... anyone need a ...

That's good to know, I was going to get a 1 piece rear shaft made up, I've heard that about centre bearings.... Just a thought... considering the price of the box from marks... after a bit of calling around i can get a r150 box and transfer for around $600 out of a low km car so i would be saving more than just a few $ if i went that way... does anyone know how easily it will bolt up under there taking into ...

I don't really like the idea of an auto in a 4x4 unfortunately... This was the first way I was going to go, I did manage to find an adapter to suit the standard auto to transfer for $900 but I really would prefer a manual... So is a r150 just as strong? either way once I source a box and transfer ...

I'm going to be putting a 1UZ in my 93 Hilux and worried about the standard 230,000km old slush box holding up... Has anyone done this conversion and if so how has the box been since it's been put in??? Any help is appreciated...
