Re: Radiators

As evan said, also ally is stronger and has more opportunity for heat transfer without the plastic tanks, soft mount it or floating in a captive frame. Also think about over-driving the water pump for more water turnover

Re: basic coilover setup.

The adjustable spring divider, some say needs to be x at ride height and some say they sitting on it at ride height, meaning top coil locked out. They way im seeing it, means jack at speed, so do you tune that lockout by feel at speed?

Re: Bleeding CNC cutting brakes.

Just bleed your brakes like normal, theres no need to touch the cutting brakes forget they are even there, it will take more time than usual just keep at it. Of coarse, it will take an unusual amount of time if you do it the normal way. Doing as i previously described will manually force the air ...

Re: Bleeding CNC cutting brakes.

If the master(CNC) has balance bar front and rear need to be cracked together. If just cutting, pump up and crack rear bleed, pull on cut lever(hold), close bleed and pump pedal filling cutting master, lever will start to move back to start, so let it move slowly whilst still holding it. after its ...

Re: King Of the Park Challenge

This was a great event, comp management was superb, track layout good- could have been some harder crawl sections-but overall tops. I like the the big intersection that caught inbound outbound on the circuit, would have been good for spectating. Got a few things to fix but all good Thanks to all ...

Re: which gauges

Engine temp normally taken from water jacket. Personally i would go full mechanical gauges for comp, less things to go wrong. So ya water temp gauge will be a thin copper tube than runs from sensor to gauge, same as a mech oil pressure gauge, and auto box temp. These are the only 3 gauges i have ...

Oh righto, my bad. So do you think having the one race next year will actually work and be fair once there's more All Terrain vehicle teams that enter? Depends on what fair means, "Free choice on what waypoints ya want to skip" or "Mandatory all classes drive the same course" :finger:

We only pulled the string out once for one of the climbs, drove the rest . could have been some more rock sections, but the sting pullers wouldnt like that. I was running i think 3/4, but had issues of pushing through brakes, i upgraded to 7/8 cylinders, my calipers are 1 ton big single piston and it felt like i was running out of cylinder before calipers were. on top of that i put in a higher stall, a lot of tuning on dizzy, idle and fuel has ...

Re: LPG Gas issues

There is too many variables to pin point without somebody looking at it. Check air/fuel ratios in exhaust for rich or lean, that should then tell you where to look, put vacuum gauge on diaphragm for opening pressure. fuel lock off functioning or blocked is convertor freezing, and on and on and on....
