true priced a couple of 4x4n utes, hilux turbo'd ute $5000.00,was unaware brock raced in a rally, apart from the tassie targa in the commo ute, its interesting to know that even a great driver like brock still doesnt know all there is, better to know it was a jackaroo, there an underestimated 4x4 ...

2.3L petrol, goes alright with low range gearing when ur out 4x4'n, it could pull the forskin off an ant, i was thinkin bout selling it and getn a ute for work puporses, :twisted:

whats it worth

What would you say a 1987 jackaroo with 3" body lift, 3"shackle lift, hd torsion bars, 95% tread 31s, a/c, new clutch, 30000 kays ago reco motor clean and tidy interior, 12 months rego, respray ect is worth?, i was thinking around $5000. input would be much appreciated :twisted:

well with the vote againest me, maybe its an illusion of lift having the torsion bar at its max, it may of squared it of with the rear, the rear has 10" above the tyre, the front now has 8.5" measured it last nite :oops: , if u go to www.cardomain.com u can get a page for ur car pics ive got mine ...

yeah the flip i did, lifted it the 2", so u may be right, some cars it may only correct it, not sure, herd it from a mate who suggested it,u know how it is worth a shot even if for the alignment

gday i did it on a 87 jackaroo couple days ago, hasnt effected the steering much although i would recomend a wheel alignment wasnt hard took about 30 mins, and got 2 inchs of lift, havent been out 4x4n latley so couldnt tell u how the articulation is, 1. jack and remove tyre put on stands (yeah ...

yeah ive got 31s on it now and with the lift it looks a bit dickie but im goin to get bigger tyres, at one stage hopefully 33s

yeah i was thinkin last nite about it its more like, 3" body lift. 3" shackle lift, 6" from the spring over,to wat i got standard which is 5" from the rear tyre, so i just add all the lift together as u could probaly tell im only new to the 4x4 scene, runnin 31s at this point in time, and ive wound ...

gday everyone out there i own an 87 trooper, and b stuffed if i know how to get the front to the point of being even with the back. the back i have a 3 inch shackle lift and planning a spring over should lift it to 17 inchs including the body lift. any1 out there who has or would know anything about ...
