Never seen in done on a lux but heaps of other cars runs straight gas with a turbo. Remember to get better performance out of gas you will need to raise your compression ratio and get the timing curve sorted out. Straight gas is brilliant, dual fuel is a compromise with timing and compression ratio.

Studs are very easy to replace, if you dont get a chance I wouldnt worry too much as the 5 out of 6 will hold the wheel in place. IF you have incorrect wheels then you have every reason to worry. The centre bore of the wheel should be matched to the hub. If the studs are taking the entire stress of ...

Your rear wheel/wheels are being driven at all times. Putting it in 4x4 locks the front diff to the transfer case via the front prop shaft. Locking the front hubs in does exactly that, locks them in to the front diff & axles. If you have tried the above methods and they are working, you have nothing ...

There may be a number of reasons why your brakes are now squealing. The few that spring to mind are that some harder compound pads will almost always squeal no matter what you do. Secondly if the rotor has any abnormal wear, the previous pads will have shaped themself to the grooves of the disc ...

I am thinking of going down the turbo road very soon on my 3L.
One question though. How do you guys go about the oil feed to the turbo? Do you have to replace the sump with the surf sump or has someone made a kit to get oil from the oil pressure switch like the falcons etc?

You can get Style side single cabs but they are few and far between. I had the dollars but still settled on an older model lux for the solid front axle. My mates IFS 4runner is quite capable, but takes 3-4 attempts ( with different lines ) at what I get through first hit

Hey guys I am new to the forum. I drive a 1990 LN106 single cab Luxy and am on the verge of having a suspension kit fitted. I have priced up an OME kit and was kind of shocked really. After reading this thread I might be inclined to go EFS. I was wondering if EFS need to weld in any brackets like ...
