Has anyone put a 5.0 or 5.7 commodore V8 in an 80 ? Or a 4.0 Lexus V8 ?

Would the manual be strong enough ?

I have a Th700 and it has handled everything so far.

My Lux is engineered with 8" overall lift...but if I moved to QLD that wouldnt count for anything would it ?

What in the early model 80 series is prone to breaking???

80 series are great, but the pre 93 models were underbraked and underpowered (petrol)

I would say rear, seeing as you dont have an LSD (not that a Yota one would help much )
