There's a dude down at Eight Mile Plains called Brian Dillon. He runs the Dillon Car Clinic. He's pretty good. However he'll slug you extra if the vhicle is modified. He's pretty awesome with diagnostics though.

Its on blocks at the moment, which is another reason I want to know what to do.

I haven't had any luck with the wreckers. Another alternator or vac pump that will fit? Any suggestions will help. I've also posted a wanted ...

Relay are usually cheap pieces of crap. Depending where its fitted and how, it could be getting filled with crap everytime you hit a puddle. That's all it takes. My air horn relay is like this. I'm on my third. My fault though as I fitted it. To trace the wiring, have a look at the battery positive ...

Stick your finger on the relay body and get someone to turn the key. If the relay is good you should feel it go clunk. If you really want to hard wire them, buy a time delay relay or a slow blow fuse or resettable circuit breaker. Use this to create a timer circuit so when you press the switch you ...

Just remember with all tool warranties they are only for manufacturing defects. Many of the big tool companies will even test your warranty claim in a lab to determine the cause of the failure. I have had Sidchrome, which used to have a lifetime warranty refuse a claim because the rep said that if ...
