I just looked in aww at this tuff, jeep looking fourbie wishing that I bought one of those instead of my headache of a 91 suzuki sierra. If anyone wants to ...

Has anyone set up a manual choke with their webers? We were mucking around with the weber yesterday, we are putting a manual choke on it (didn't come with choke, got electric and water chokes from wreckers but don't think they'll bolt on, would prefer manual anyway). Can anyone give me some help ...
Ach, I don't think I could go muds again. I just want some fairly chunky all terrains. The muds on it at the moment make the ride so bloody uncomfy. I'll try and find a stockist that sells the Motorways here in Sydney. Anyone know anywhere?? And in Sydney we have everything. We have mud (drop zone ...
That sounds great! Sounds like my kind of thing. I'm only a first year apprentice, so you can imagine how dismal my pay packet is every week. So these tyres are fairly comfortable on road also, the ones I've got now make the ride so bone jarring and bouncy. Would you be able to give me the contact ...

G'day all I'm in the market for a new set off rubber for my Sierra. At the moment I have a set of old worn out muddies. They are Dunlop Grantrek 30x9.50 r15 Lt. I would like a set of all terrains, pretty chunky ones, that would be nice on road and that wouldn't be much bigger than my original tyres ...

G'day all. I just got my Weber 32/36 dgv delivered today. I was just wondering if someone would be able to send me some pics of their carbies and their carbie set-ups just so I've got a clear image in my head of what I've got to do. The pics posted on this thread don't seem to show up on my computer ...

I'm putting a big bosch unit in my zook. It looks similiar to the ones out of commodores but I'm not too sure. It bolts straight in, has the same number of wire outlets (I think). So all I have to do is change the pulley. I'm not too sure about the amp output, but I'm guessing it would be a lot more ...

weber carbie and adapter plate Q
G'day all. I just bought a Weber 32/36 dgav off Ebay and plan to put it on my '91 Sierra. The guys out there who have done this before, what adapter plate did you use? The guy I bought the Weber off says his Datsun (1600's, 180B, 200B, Bluebird etc) will fit. Is this true? Cheers

suzuki swift/barina engine in sierra
G'day all. I was just at wreckers today picking up a few misc parts. I had a look at the Swifts and Barinas and thought maybe I could put one of these engines in my Sierra. I asked the guy at the office and he says they would sell me a fuel injected swift motor for $450 dollars. What type of engine ...

G'day all
This is a just a bit off topic to Suzuki's but I didn't know where else to post it. I'm having trouble uploading a picture for my profile. I got a photo of my Zook and shrunk it to the right amount of KB. But apparently its got too many pixels. How do I fix this problem?
Cheers

We've already replaced the temperature sender unit, but to no avail, still no reading. Lately the fuel guage has been working. I'd drive to work and it'll be reading, and with a fairly accurate reading, but on the way home it won't be working. Just like the car, it's a tempremental lil bastard. Well ...

Vitara carbie
In 4x4 Monthly, they said that a good modification to do was to replace the Sierra carbie with a Vitara one instead. Has anyone heard of this being done before. I've heard of plenty of people doing this with the Webers, but this doesn't interest me as I've heard the Vitara ones better for 4x4ing ...

Ohh also, to answer Nicbeer, my breaking downs have both been mechanical and electricl. The first few breakdowns were mechanical, mainly carbie related for memory. And the fuel filter. Then the other day (which got me into heaps of trouble at work because I couldn't get into work on the saturday ...

G'day Cheers for the advice. I'll note it all down. I think I've fixed the speedo problem, I was just mucking around with it after work. I'm not too sure, but I'll give it another test on my way to work in the morning. Are those replacement guages you are talking about be for the actually stock dash ...

Electric problems in Sierra
G'day all, new here, but have been reading the threads for awhile now, it's a great site, I hope you can help me. This weekend, my dad and I were going to fix some electrical problems. The temp and fuel guages weren't working, well the temp guage wasn't working at all and the fuel guage was only ...
