my mate runs a standard v6 commo motor in his 4runner with 44s and it goes hard as! i know the patrol will be heavyer but its not turnin 44s either! im lookin 4 another truck at the moment and i think thats what i will be doing puttin a v6 in it!! and dont worry the v6s arent that easy 2 kill trust ...

i drive a 320rwhp commmodore with a spool in it and i wouldnt like my 4wd 2 be like that espically with the big tyres but its ur car!!! why not just do 1 cause really its only a matter of time be4 u do the other!! thats what i did done the rear first and im gunna do the front soon!! i go the bigger ...

i got a rear in mine cause the lsd went 2 shit like they do!! but i found i liked the rear lock cause when ur got a rear wheel off the ground its still drivable and that i heard its alot easyer 2 break stuff in the front with lockers

if i was 2 go fuel i would get a injection set up cause i hate 4wdin with a carby!!! power isnt a major problem although it would need a bit cause im runnin 35s on stock diff gears!!!

i just put new plugs and leads in it!!! do u know any1 good in sydney that could sort it out 4 me!! any1???

it wont idle right on gas it coughs and so on!!! and now the carby is stuffed is wont even run on fuel!! im not 2 fussed about power i just want it 2 run right

i had the carby rebuilt be4 christmas and its already stuff!! i got a gas guy 2 tune it last still runs like shit!! its got extractors and a 2.5 exhust and electric dizzy! coolin system is workin good!! leads are brand new!! its only mainly really bad on idle!!! doesnt really wanna idle sometimes ...

how much did it cost u 2 convert it 2 straight gas????

hey guys i have a 4.2 petrol/gas and im gettin sick of it runnin like shit so i have decided its 1 or the other!! just wonderin what r people thoughts on runnin straight gas 2 petrol!! its carby at the monent but if i go with straight fuel ill inject it!

yea the motor comes with with loom computer and auto and transfer!! his gunna install it 4 me 4 next 2 nothing!! the only thing is my motor was rebuild about 40000 ago so how much do reckon i would get 4 that with the gearbox 5 speed?? this another motor only has 6000 on it

hey guys i am thinking about changing my gq 4.2 carbie dual fuel with a near new 4.5 gu engine!! just wondering weather it would be worth doing cause i can get the motor cheap??

what do people think about the 4.5 against the 4.2??
