I have a brand new Uniden UHF and and old Uniden AM both installed just incase.....In last 6 months I have heard the AM go off once, and mine are both on all the time :)

I run 31 X 10.5 X 15 on the road, probably go a little skinnier next time.

Off road 35 X 12.5 X 15 BFG AT

2inch spring lift 2 inch body lift, only ever rub on back on stupid flex and only lightly, usually woth 4 people on board and luggage / tools, no gurd mods.

I would avoid an au model - no torque what so ever - we had one in a manual and the dirty old ea also manual we had side by side shat all over ot torque wise. topend was a different story. i think the au is an auto motor and when coupled to a manual box is usless. we had it back to ford several ...

I sell both lovells and kings and cant find those part numbers anywhere....how old are the suckers has he had them for last 10 years? the free height doesnt help as the number of coils and thickness is more important.

The diameter of the tyre has nothing to do with rim width for lgalities...8.5 wides are commonly recomended for 12.5 wide tyres to avoid excess tyre roll.

Anyone had any luck with engineers in vic, I have a LWB GQ with 2 inch body lift, 2 inch Spring lift an 35's , started going through vic roads engineering list and found a couple that will look at it but for $1200 plus...seems they charge more for 4 wheelers..
