There's Ballina 4wd club. It's been years since I was a member but they used to meet at Alstonville. Was a great club with good people then. There's also a club at Casino but don't know anything else about that one.

Definitely (unless they've been upgraded sometime in the past)

Not sure about the other bit though.

You shouldn't even need the bases unless you still need access into the rear (if they bases are from a 3 door Disco, then they should have a tilt function, I believe)

I kept my original base and just slide the new seat on.

Early Disco seats slide right on. The fella who owned the rangie before me put the drivers side belt up on the B pillar and I've since got rid of the original Rangie seat for the Disco one but apparently the seat belt change would need to be engineered so I was considering getting a 2 door seat ...

Did you end up buying one? Still looking. Have seen a nice looking 2003 Grand Cherokee Loredo for sale near home which I don't mind either. 4.7ltr with 100k on the clock ($25k). A few kms but what I've always been told is the more cylinders spread the load so greater mileage isn't such a concern ...

Hi guys,

Don't mind the look of the KJ Cherokee. Any bad points/ things to look for when buying other than the normal things?

Certainly would!

I think the ends (cups) turn brittle, being plastic. I have the 2 rods but the plastic ends have broken.

PM me the details.

Get one thing fixed and another pops up! WANTED: RR Classic Warning Lamps & Door Lock Rods

Thought I'd put this here since it's more relevant to LRs than in the generic section. I'm after the warning lamps for the Handbrake & Parking Lights from a 1981 RR. Mine weren't there when I bought the thing and now I've worked out which wires are for what, I'd like to have them working. So it's ...
