Hi, i have a solid front hilux and was wondering if anyone has the XROX bar or had any experience with it? or somewhere in canberra that can make me one similar.

Dont just add weights, actually turn the tyre on the rim to see if that brings it into balance that way.

I'm looking at new shocks too, heading for rancho 9000x adjustables, a few ppl have said that tough dog can be overkill for the lightweight lux's, where as in patrols n stuff ranchs are underdone and you need the tough dogs.

I have undone the diff side of it and cannot turn it for the life of me and cannot get the bolt on the top side undone either. Any suggestions??

I have a 96 2.4 petrol and im getting 220 tops with 33"s.
I'd be lovin 360kms.

The mallet is the way to go, i have a 96 solid with 50mm body lift with 33"s and they always hit sooooo just give it a bash.

As above, where is a good spot to mount ARB compressor switch and locker switches at a later date in a hilux????

thanks for that struth, it doesnt sound like an exhaust leaking or a tack tack tack noise so hopefully its just engine noise

I got extractors and a 2" system fitted the other day and now there is a real ticking sound coming from the engine under acceleration only when the car is moving, it doesnt make it when you are stopped and just rev it. Any ideas???????

When i got mine pinked, he said just take them off and it'l pass, i reversed out took them off and put them in the tray, drove back in and got the tick.

I have a '96 dual cab and need more speakers in the car most probably in the doors. Just asking if anyone could post pics of interior especially the doors where people have fitted speakers and if there are already holes behind trim to put them in.

I hadnt taken on the highway with the new 33"s until yesterday and barely got over 90km/h, it was then i realised.

Hi, i just realised that my 2.4 Hilux has no power.

I was just wondering what V8 would be best in terms of cost and ease of fitment. And if anyone new rough cost of what it may be and the amount of modifications needed to get it in?
