The PTO runs from the gear box not the transfercase I think I will have to use the smaller Isuzu motor that was listed and be easy on the g/box. Iam not going to use it in extreame offroading lol.

Thanks but I want to keep the 2A box as I have a pto winch that runs of it and it damm great winch. I was thinking of going the transfer gear conversion with thr higher raito gear and usind a Isuzu diesel engine.

Isuzu Diesel motor to repower 2A Landy

Hi guys does any one know witch Isuzu diesel 4 pot engine to repower my 1965 2A I want to retain the 2A box, is there an adapter kit around that I could use? has any one done this here thanks. :lol:

Thanks Wayne for the info theres least 5 of us with series 1s that are planing to go down from Brisbane to it together in a convoy hopefully more will join up along the way.

After reading the last post maybe a standed 110 would be a better option for my needs, would work out to be more cost efective then doing a chop or hybrid. Just have to sell of the Japanese ring sting machine (180sx) thanks guys for the advice as these coil sprung Landys are all new to me lol been ...

Cutting down a 110 to 92 inch wheel base

Hi all I gots a couple of questions that I hope I can get answers too. Does any one know how hard it is to cut down a 110 to a 92 inch wheel base? The body work isnt a problem its the chassis work/tail shaft.And is it legal to do in QLD. Has any one here done this conversion? Thanks.
