what engine to put in my lux

the 2.8's blown so just need advice on wat u guys think i should convert to...... been lookin at commodore v6's not sure really wat else is best for it. i travel at least an hour on highway everyday so has to be fairly economical and does anyone know some good engine conversion places in south east ...

chuck sum splits in mate much better quality thats wat i did and i got 6x9's in the back... had to use spacers for 6x9s and grinded the door a bit ;)

carrot i have a IFS hilux and im in the same situation wanting to upgrade off road capabiltity but feel so limited.....

my question to everyone is would it be better to spend a few grand on doin a solid front end conversion then tryin to upgrade the ifs???? thats what ive been considering

got a 25L used plastic fuel can at home which will be handy to carry more diesel wen i go away at the end of the year

just wanderin if its gonna pollute the diesel much and if its gonna damage me ute??? or wat i can use to really clean the can out......

i travel round 80klms a day on the highway just wanderin if its good for my bfg muddies???

starting to see sum small missin chunks and little splits and not sure if its the highway use or the offroad use on the weekends

my front diff went bang at fraser over christmas........its had a very hard life and done 280 000 so i reckon thats not bad.

and 2.8 diesals are the way to go heaps of torque but will still reach 130 - 140 on the highway.........downhill :P

thanx soundtech......had a good look under her yesterday and got a good idea of wat needs to happen and yes i need to adjust my bullbar aswell

i allready hav 2'' suspension lift just going another 2 inches to fit sum 33's
