When I put the cab together ie windscreen frame, top half of the cab and roof I put a 3mm ...

45 series handbrake

I converted my 45 ute about a year ago. Had to get a later model 40 or 45 diff housing with the 5 bolt pattern. I got hold of an old 60 series truck and pinched the backing plates with all the handbrake stuff and cable. Had to lenghten the cable to the cab by 750mm and shorten the cable between the ...

dash 45

there are two lugs on cluster that hook over the bottom edge. Prise the top awayfrom the dash about 10-15mm and try and slide the whole thing skyward a little and then pull out.

As mentioned you will have spedo and cables.

g'day fellas,
I got an ARB winch for my HJ45 6months ago from a sunshine coast supplier and it cost me $790.00. Can email pics but don't know how to post up here. I had to wait for ARB to do a run of 45/40 bars but maybe it was good timing for me as I only had to wait 2-3 weeeks.

Cheers

I have just done the same to my 45. Left the 45 booster as is and got a new master cylinder from a 60 series and bolted to it. Brakes work a treat.

My 2 bobs worth,
I have just fitted a full fibreglass kit for my HJ45 and I am really happywith it. It is heaps lighter than the steel stuff I took off and comes with full transport approval. As far as strength is concerned I don't know but it must be ok to get approval.
