where the injector pump bolts to the engine, there is a line on the timing belt and one on the injector pump. Loosen the injector pump rotate it till these line up and it should run a little better. You will probably need a mechanic's mirror to see it properly, it is kinda hard to see but if you ...

Yeah twice then twice again then twice again. It revs fine with no load buts as soon as it has load it struggles.

Maybe glow plug timer, or incorrect glow plugs. If it is ment to have 6Volts plugs then 12Volt plugs will not do the job. Just a thought.

I can think of 2 models that would suit a magna both are cheap and will work for any model

Sounds like you are missing an anti-rattle clip. Cant remember what the 85 lux caliper clip looks like but if you can get a shot with the wheel off looking into the caliper in the direction the pads go in I can explain better.

You wouldn't have a photo of a brake setup and what part it might be ...

is it a tick or a bit of a knock sound my brothers had a knock sound when first braking and then when took foot off we tracked it down to be the draglink the thing from your steering box to the diff moving around under load
It is more of a Tick sound like a little stone in a tyre tick. But only ...

Hey all,
Just after some information, I have a 1984 Hilux Single Cab. When I pulled into the driveway today there was a knock from the front drivers side wheel. I grabed the tyre and there is slight movment in and out. What would be wrong and how do I fix it. :cry:

The alternator in question is rooted and getting replaced, but i can't get the rear bolt undone, i've sprayed it with some WD40 and let it soak and then tried it, but to no avail.
