Are you sure you've been adjusting it in the right direction? A worn clutch usually does exactly the opposite of what you're describing. Something somewhere in the release mechanism could be stuffed though? I'm assuming it's a cable clutch, if so maybe you can add some washers somewhere to give you ...

I sorted out the shifting issue, the selector on the back of the 'box wasn't centred. It's shifting OK now, just have to put the transfer back on.

problem selecting gears

Hello I put the gearstick in the rocky today and found that it's stuck in gear :bad-words: . I didn't think to check that the selectors were working before I put the new gearbox in. I think I may have stuffed it when I removed/refittted the transfer case? Anyone know any tricks to save me pulling ...

Variations? Yeah, tell me about it :bad-words: I've had my driveshaft dramas, and also had to remove the gearbox/clutch/flywheel again to replace the backing plate. The delta truck backing plate was identical bar the starter motor holes being about 3mm out, only found out when I tried to bolt up the ...

Thanks for the offer. The unis seem pretty good, they move smoothly and there's no slop. I pulled the flanges off the old gearbox after I posted, I thought it would be difficult but it turned out to be really easy, mostly thanks to a recently acquired rattle gun. I'll see if I can get the flanges to ...

f!*(^*#&ing drive shafts

Hello I'm still putting my F75 back together :x Engine is now in and running, but I tried to bolt up the driveshafts to my new gearbox and the bolt pattern is different :bad-words: . The new 'box is out of a F70, transfer has mechanical engagement. The old transfer had vacuum engagement. Does anyone ...

The oil cooler is the thing I would be checking out. Remove the fitting where the coolant return is, top right hand corner of your pic, and see if there is anything blocking it. I replaced all the rubber hoses earlier today. I might remove one and see if I can blow through it OK. Thanks to everyone ...

Trying to figure out where a crankcase breather goes

Hello I'm in the process of reassembling my rocky F75. The original motor is dead and gone so i'm using a gear drive DL motor I pulled out of a Delta truck, only problem is the breather pipe from the side plate goes into a tube which runs down the motor and points at the ground. I'm concerned about ...

I haven't actually tried the F100 wheels on the rocky, but they stick out a fair way on the zook and they have a fairly deep dish.
I'm not even 100% sure they're even F100 wheels, they're sunraysia style with a huge centre hole and very thick steel on the centre bit

Hmmm.... I reckon i'll end up going the 30" tyres, i'm keen to avoid scrubbing as it will be a while before I get around to lifting it.
Thanks to everyone who posted. I'll also put some pics up in the next few weeks if anyone is interested.

Tyres for F75 rocky

Hello I've got a F75 rocky with no mods yet, and i'm wondering what tyre size to go for. 30x9.5 or 31x10.5 are the sizes i've been looking at, which will be going on to fairly deep dished 8x15 rims (I think they are off a F100?). Is the extra diameter/size of the 31" likely to cause clearance issues ...
