I don't think anyone knows what is wrong. Nick Mannelli had my GU in his hands and as I wrote before, I have changed everythink, new drag link, new busches, new wheel bearings, no caster plates but snake racing dropped radius arms and still have that problem. But I have to say it was much worse ...

I was lucky and had some spare time today so I went to 4Way suspension shop and took the dumper back. I was told it sounds like the shocker is not working correctly. They gonna pull it a part and check it. Let you know what they will find out.

Those dropped down radius arms from Snake racing so I could remove caster plates. It made 100% improvement but only with ARB dumper. If the RTC are too agresive on self centering is there a way to adjust them? Wanted to go today to "4way suspension" shop where I bought them and talk to them but I'm ...

dropped radius arms

Hi Maybe some remember me from post before. I had a big problem with shimmy on my GU. To solve it I had change wheel bearing, install new rock rod - drag link, changed bushes on panhard rod and still had the problem. As soon as the shimming started I had to slow down to stop it. Last idea was to ...

Thx ozy1, that is what I needed to hear. If the drop boxes has fixed the problem that means the dropped down arms should do the same. Cannot return the parts and ask for refund. I was told that to find the problem I have to fix first the bearings and steering arms because they were in bad condition ...

Ok, I just got the car back from Mannell motors. The shimming is there since the 5" lift was installed. I could feel it but it always stopped straight away and there was no problem to drive in speeds like 110km. Because I was not happy with it I decided to spent some money and bought RTC steering ...

free play on steering wheel

I'm still having trouble with shimming on my GU. I found out that I have a pretty big free play on steering wheel, could the shimming be caused by that? How much of free play should be on steering wheel? I have played around with the adjusting screw on the top of the steering box and if I tighten it ...

Hi guys, I'm having the same problem. I'm running 5inch lift on 315/75R16. I tought it is the dumper so replaced it with RTC one but it got worse and had to put the old one back. It usually does it around 70 - 80km/h. I took the car to Mannell motors. Since then I had replaced front wheel bearings ...

thx from your pictures I can not see the bracket and that is why I asked if you cut it off. I'm posting another pictures with my old dumper back on again and you can see the bracket on panhard rod, it is just past the kink. If I fit the dumper your way, I don't think I can clear the panhard rod ...

ok, thx a lot
after consultation with guys from 4way susp the way I have fitted it is correct. I was looking at your way of fitting, but I don't think I'm gonna clear the kink on my panhard rod. The dumper is just too long. Also I think the existing mount on panhard rod would be in the way.

Hi, thx for reply. Yes it is the one with white coil-over. There are two sizes, small one which should fit on the existing brackets and HD one which is a lot bigger. I bought the HD. I already talk to guys from 4way suspension and Nick Mannell and they think there has to be some other problem. I ...

2" lift from Maverick on Nissan?

Was told the 2" lift from Ford Maverick 93 TD42 will fit on mine 98 Patrol TD28. The left and right front spring from the lift are different, left one is shorter about 20mm. The factory springs on mine Patrol are the same lenght. Will it really fit or the axle on Maverick is different? Thanks for ...
