ok put new aftermarket gauge and sender in car to get more of an idea of what temp its actually getting to and turnes out its only getting too just over 90c going up a long hill which in my opinion is fine idle temp is just under 80c so turns out it was probably a gauge or sender problem all along ...

put new fan and viscous hub on cruiser today and drove up the hill... got further before getting really hot exhaust temps where getting to 440c

well i found the shroud and radiator i took out of it but seems ive misplaced the viscous hub and fan.... is aftermarket any good? why isnt it good? and how much for genuine stuff does anyone know?

hey yes thermos have full shroud covering whole radiator so its sucked through the whole thing....

and the head isnt cracked as its been off and sent tested and rebuilt... did need combustion chambers seats and guides but had no cracks...

buying an aftermarket coolant temp sensor to see wat temp ...

ok so i put twin thermos on mine with no differance now had the head off and done put back on with thicker headgasket to decompress the engine a little and have put a pyro gauge on it going up hills egt's were 320 and temp gauge was starting to get hot (i thought i remembered somewhere on here that ...

i had the same leak the housing does wear and have seen a few altho i found it easy enough to replace the part myself i did end up sending the pump to a pump place the get all upgraded parts put in it and cleaned up while off because i wanted to turbo the 1hz shortly after

ok i have cut the bar and made up a plate that was welded in ill post up plate drawing with measurements and let you know where to cut the bar for anyone wanting to modify 80 series non-winch bar to suit gimmi a few days and i should have pics too

ok i have one more question.... when using a winch mount plate like the one supplied by tigerz (and apparently tjm bars have the same setup pulling 90 deg to the mount bolts) at what height is the fairlead mounted above the winch mounting plate????????????

my mate is a metal fabricator with his own shop and he just made a custom rear bar for the car so ill get him to weld it so it shouldnt be a problem but he asked me to find out what size steel is used in them... i might even go buy the tigerz mount bracket and get that permenently welded into the ...

ok i took my car around to fabricators mates place and pulled off the bar and all seems to fit in quiet ok with no clearance issues now i just need to go find out how thick a winch bar is so i know how thick i get the metal to reinforce the inside of the bar as id like it strong but no need to go ...

i have done like 10 searches using different key words! i always search first but i cant find anything that will help me. i think i read in one post that its big and will be a tight fit nothing else tho.. so again any help would be nice even if its a link to another post....

usually radius bushes panard rod bushes or really bad wheel balance. visible check bushes if they seem ok go over all bolts make sure they are tight then swap tires front to rear and see if that fixs it as the rears might be in balance and be ok on the front.. other then that its probably bushes

i have this same problem right now. im not loosing coolant so i dont think its a cracked head. i removed radiator and found bottom third full of mud and tryed to wash it out but the fins went with it too but i put it back in and still was better then before so ive ordered a new radiator and ill do ...

yer its the only thing i can think of too!!! i might order the marlin crawler seals as they say they are alot better and give them a go before i fork out to get the housing straightened.... anybody had a housing straightened before? how much did it cost?

hey ive got a 94 80series which runs the 16" rims and ive had a 15 on the front before in a emergency with no probs but the rear wont fit because of calipers so i want to know can you get wheel spacers to clear the caliper or even just a bigger offset rim and if not has anyone done a brake downsize ...
