Re: What can i pull a 4g54 out of to fit my pajero??

A Sigma or Scorpion motor would be simplest, but probably getting rare. At least it's north-south.

On a scale of 1->10, i would say about 3.

A motor designed for a sedan pushing a 2.5T 4x4 wasn't Nissan's greatest idea. The Patrol RB30's were also the povo-pack carbied model, not the EFI one's you find in Skylines and VL commodores.

Its fairly easy to put a turbo on them, however you get more ...

How do the 3.0l patrols go?

Hey all, as the title states, i am interested to know how well the rb30 powered patrols go, things like power, fuel economy and driveability, how do they rate on a 1-10 scale? are they good when the going gets a bit rough?

thanks in advance,

Toorak Tractors in Melbourne sell the manifold spacers so you can use a 3.5/3.9 efi manifold, some have had reasonable success using the 3.5 efi gear with so fuel pressure tweaks but an aftermarket ecu is your best bet for tuneability, if you are good with a soldering iron then megasquirt diy ecu's ...

I think with a 32/36 it will depend what its off whether it'll work right straight off the bat, but the jet sizes you have will do fine, i have the same. Be careful with the air correctors though, i have had fun getting them right. :) I think mine a 145's? did you use 145's for both? last time i ...
