Re: 4runner rear flex and diff swap

I wouldn't worry bout wheel track too much , as long its close. Your right bout the 80 cv's and balls but ide still gor for the 60 diff, its easer to get parts and cheaper too, especally out at a 4wd park, if you break one, put a lux one in. put a set of longfilds in and its almost as tough as it ...

Re: boss 4x4 shocks

Hey mate, You are right, there is a lot of bad talk about these shocks but thats because of poor fitments and wong size shockes being fitted with lift kits, causing then to smash the ends out of them. Set ya truck up right with propper bump stops and and the right length shock and you will be fine ...

Obviously everyone on this page is an engineer, I wonder how many people actually put engineering and geometry into their trucks instead of bolt on kits and off the shelf parts. It is possible to achieve a low centre of gravity and excellent driveability with a lifted truck.

Hay guys just want some opinions on 5"spring lift vs 3" or 4" spring lift + 2" body. Can i ask why you need 5" of lift??? Sorry for not getting back Its to clear 35" rubber but dont see the point in a boby lift maybe in a shorty but in a lwb. I think the rear end could be set up better to decrease ...

I cut shims on the laser cutter at work and shimed the f#*k out of it, its almost a locked, it'll probably only last 6 months.
Just shim the f#*k out of it, weld one up or put a locka in.

the springs are tempard steel, there a bit hare to drill and yes thay will snap after while.

I dont understand why anyone would run 35s with only a 3" lift, thats why I quoted 33s. Im probably wrong. I run 35's with only 3" lift..... Pretty happy about it too  Me to on an 80 series and waiting for new rims and going to 37,s. :) I take back what i said then. Its all good!
