This was our first year for the OBC, (car50)80series.
Very lucky to be mixed with a fantastic group.
We learnt heaps during the OBC.
Had winch problems and lost oil pressure on the second last day of comp.
I have pics from Group A, how do I show them on this thread?

I put a P76 V8 in the cruiser and just used the original brackets that bolt to the motor and adapt these to original cruiser engine mounts.

Has anybody got a tailgate for a 94 Rangie. If so what condition/colour and price please?
I smacked mine :? gave it some lovin :D , not whilst having a good time either. Towing a loaded trailer, came of the ball and gave me a little grief all the way down a steep decent.

Yeh, I know, I'm starting to find out all the bad points with the drive train but we'll get them sorted and all up the one good point, the fact thats its such a plessure to drive outways the bad ones.....(so far)

Sounds like the rangie drive train wasn't anywhere near being over engineered for strength. Looks like I have some home work ahead of me.
Although I only plan to do it up for touring, not competing.

I haven't been to a rock buggy orientated event before and all I can say, IT WAS AWESOME.
Battle of the Codes was for me one of the best events I have been to for action.
This sort of action is what the crowds love to watch.

All the guys that helped me film for Off Road Productions had an absolute hoot, including 4wdTV.
Although it was bloody hot, we held in there and got alot of excellent footage and perhaps was probably the best HARDCORE footage to date.
There were so many gutsy drives and Sams Mogrover blue me away ...

Oh......I didn't realise the Sydney Jeep Club were competing, there certainly wasn't any winching allowed......ha ha ....LOL
