some good pics mate, brings back memories, lol..
we had heaps of issues with them dizzy's.. since replacing it with a bosch, we've had no problems..
hopefully your one isn't as stuffed as ours was..

its actuallt pretty good on fuel... now with the straight gas getting around 4.5-5.5 kays per litre on the highway taking it easy... around town it gets 3.5-4.. and towing around 2 kays.. donk by itself was around the 7.5 mark

Awesome.! Did you keep the Toyota Auto.? How does it go.? i heard that in the states the f-250's were rated at 10 tonne.. my dad went on a fishing trip to port stephens in a 6.5+ tonne boat, they used an f-250 and according to them, the car even uphill didnt even feel like it had the boat behind it, towing ur boat wouldnt be a hassle for that then. thats ...

sorry about my ignorance, but how would i achieve torque with the same engine, i was under the impression that a supercharger would increase the hp and not the torque which is what were mainly after

thnx for the comment, we called Marks 4wd today and he rocomended that we fit a 454 BB with gen6 block. the motor has 390 hp and 595 ft/pounds torque. With the adapter it is going to bolt stright onto the old bell housing, and we also called desert cool radiators and we will run a custom made 2 core ...

hey all, we own a 80 series 4.5 litre 4wd auto and we do allot of towing, our boat weighs 3+ tonnes and we find that the cruiser just struggles too much.
