All signed in for the bootcamp, looking forward to it, learnt heaps from the last one.

It is a great opportunity to learn from the top drivers and navis and on a great property. (thanks Alan and everyone thats involved in setting it up)

I want to thank the guys that are organising it no matter what form it takes, it is very difficult to get property and planning approval.

As a competitor this year in a number of events, you cant be anything but grateful to the marshalls, organisers and everyone that makes these events possible ...

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great event, the marshalls and everyone that put so much work in to set up an awesome course.

It was a lot of fun, really proud of my Navi: Tom, great effort for your first event mate, dont forget next Sunday is clean the car day :)

I want to partly rewire my truck to tidy it up a bit, relocate the fuse box, install a power distribution module, number all the wiring and document the system for easy fault findng.

Mike Smith is running a extreme training camp for guys that want to improve their results.

Might be worth a look.

I still feel that the fact that competitors promote the products that the spectators buy, a trade discount for the 30 or so drivers would be a good investment for companies that manufacture or service the 4wd industry, you may find that the sticker will stay on the cars longer.

Having said that ...

I just think it would be a good idea for event organisers to request a product discount offer for competitors from the sponsors of an event.

It does not matter if it is 1% or 50%, by providing a printed list of the “sponsors name / product / and discount offeredâ€

no offence freetucker but who are you. why would these companies want to give you something?? could you imagine how many people phone them saying "i have a comp truck can you give me some lights?"
I think if you want sponsorship you will need to go to some comps and get a name for yourself then ...

How about we standardise the event sponsorship stickers. State the size allocated for the event stickers, then create a one piece sticker that has the team number, event name, sponsors etc all on one. Then at least this space can be reserved and all spectators can clearly see the difference ...

I must say that the Major Sponsors and minor sponsors of my events will give geninue competitors a good price on product if it is used soley for their comp truck.

All I can say is ask them and you will receive, but do not expect it for nothing.

I know that it cost anywhere up to 100k or more to built a comp rig, it costs on average 2k an event to maintain and repair it.
